Iteso Cultural Union Enhances Mobility with New Vehicle Acquisition

As Emorimor, the Chief of the Iteso Cultural Union, intensifies Ateker mobilization at the grassroots level, the Union has unveiled a new van to facilitate better access for his subordinates.
The Toyota van, with registration number UBR 781X, was officially received on Wednesday morning by the Prime Minister, Mr. Andrew Ocole, at the ICU offices.

Ocole emphasized the institution’s commitment to delivering visionary services to the Ateker-speaking people, highlighting the van’s significance in improving accessibility.
“This vehicle cost the institution close to UGX 80,000,000, including taxes and shipping from Japan,” he stated. He added, “We are also expecting the arrival of a second vehicle, a Toyota Prado, which had been sent to Kampala for repairs.”

The two vehicles are intended to support institutional activities, including the upcoming Ateker R-Union festival, set to take place in Soroti City.
The Institutional Prime Minister also called on the Ateker people to support resource mobilization efforts for the construction of the multi-billion-shilling Iteso Palace.
