Kampala, Uganda – Celebrations are underway as popular gospel singer Baby Gloria, real name Gloria Mulungi Ssenyonjo, prepares to walk down the aisle with her fiancé Mbaleka Jonas in what promises to be a glamorous wedding ceremony set for August 22, 2025.
The news, which has excited fans and well-wishers across the country, was confirmed by the bride’s mother, Betty Ssenyonjo, during a recent interview. She revealed that all preparations are progressing smoothly and that the family is working with top-tier wedding planners in Kampala to ensure the couple’s big day is nothing short of spectacular.
“All the wedding plans are going on steadily. Gloria is going to look glam and stylish — just as expected. Her wedding gown was purchased from Turkey and later sent to India for lace additions. It cost approximately fifty million shillings, because we are working with the best,” said Betty.
The couple, admired for their youthful energy and commitment to faith, has been trending on social media ever since news of their engagement broke. Gloria, who rose to fame at a tender age through her powerful gospel music, continues to be a role model for many young people across Uganda.
