Lil Pazo, known by his real name Mukasa Yasin, recently opened up about the unique dynamic within his family, where he and his wife manage to balance their differing religious beliefs with understanding and respect.
While Lil Pazo is a devout Muslim, his wife, Pastor Patricia Nareeba, is a committed Christian who leads a ministry. Pastor Patricia runs Patricia John’s Ministries in her hometown of Ibanda, where she dedicates herself to uplifting her community spiritually.
Beyond her local ministry, she has also started a fellowship in Masajja, further expanding her reach and offering spiritual guidance to a larger audience.
The couple has two children together, and according to Lil Pazo, their religious differences have never been a source of conflict within their relationship. “It all depends on how you connect with each other,” he shared, emphasizing that mutual respect and a deep connection help them navigate their differences with ease.
Despite his humorous and often playful public persona, Lil Pazo made it clear early in their relationship that his on-stage behavior is separate from his true self at home. As a performer, Lil Pazo is known for his jokes and entertaining commentary, which he uses to engage with fans.
However, he felt it was important to explain this to his wife, ensuring she understood that his stage persona did not represent his personal beliefs or attitude within their marriage. “I joke a lot and say humorous stuff for my fans to enjoy, but I told my wife that that’s not me so that she doesn’t find my words conflicting or a danger to our marriage,” he explained.
At home, Lil Pazo shows a respectful and loving attitude, mindful of his wife’s Christian faith. He has expressed that he adheres to a certain “protocol” within his household, especially given that his wife is a religious woman.
